Who walks with you
Every guide holds a current wilderness first-aid certificate and the Perak forestry guide licence, and has walked each route at least ten times before leading it.
Lead guides
Set the pace, carry the communicator, make the turnaround call. On cave trips the lead goes first through every wet section.
Second guides
Walk at the back so nobody is ever last alone. They carry the group first-aid kit and the spare headlamps.
