Named for the slope
Lereng is Malay for slope. We are a small outfit in Ipoh that takes people up the limestone and into the caves of the Kinta Valley, and a little further when they ask.
Why we started
The hills around Ipoh are some of the best walking in the country and most visitors only see them from the car. We wanted a way in that was small, unhurried and run by people who live under them.
How we work
Two guides on every trip, eight people at most, an early start and a written turnaround time. We would rather come back with a story about the summit we skipped than one about the storm we walked into.
